Part of a series of objects titled 'Places to Escape' this stool was designed to provide a means of escape within the home. The stool can be used in the conventional, social manner but by pulling the centre piece out the other segments, which are attached in a telescopic fashion, follow on to create a comfortable cocoon that the occupant can escape into.
